"Little Big Horn Mountains"
This is a scene of the Little Big Horn Mountains - the eastern side of the Little Horn Rim. This piece took a considerable of time because of the detail and the size of the piece. The original measures 16" high by 33" wide. This landscape was created with the help of the photographs taken while on a cattle drive in Wyoming through the Double Rafter Cattle Drive organization. The "panorama" photograph is shown below the artwork.
These photos were taken the morning of our first day on the drive and the night before we received about a foot and a half of snow. We decided to head up the valley a bit further in search of cattle. If you look closely at the clearing on the right side of the picture you will see 12 head of cattle.
