The Mizzy Trail:

The Mizzy Trail is an 11 km loop that takes you by five lakes as well as a few extra little un-named ponds. This particular field trip took in only half of the trail and we simply reversed our way out. We went as far as the West Rose Lake in the hopes of discoverying some Moose in the early morning. Unfortunately we didn't come across any, however there were numerous hoof prints and scats to indicate that they were close by. Mizzy Trail is considered a "moderate" trail in terms of difficulty and is usually a good trail for wildlife viewing.

A lot of the photographs taken during this field study were done in an attempt to emphasize the morning fog or mist as well as the frost that had arrived throughout the previous night.
