"Endless Migration" Wildebeests make almost a continuous journey in their annual migrations. This image shows two female wildebeests with a young calf following in their foot steps as they cross a shallow pond. This original was donated on a 50-50 basis to the Cancer Society via the One of a Kind Spring Show. "Grizzly" An adult male Grizzly Bear can weigh up to 400 kilograms and despite its fearsome reputation as a carnivore, about 80 percent of it's diet consists of berries, roots, grasses and other plants. Habitat is the main concern of the grizzly bear - a male needs up to 2000 square kilometres to survive while females need between 200 and 500. "Lakes of Algonquin" This is an image of cow moose standing in the shallows of a lake. In the background is the outline of some of the most prominent lakes of Algonquin Park. This original was donated to the Old Ottawa South Community Centre Charity Auction which was held on May 31, 2002. The Charity Auction was organized to help raise funds for a much needed renovation. This particular piece raised $ 320.00 to help the Community Centre. <<<<<Back to Previous Sold Wildlife Page Next Sold Wildlife Page >>>>>
