Fishing the 1000 Islands.

This Artistic Cartography piece called "Fishing the 1000 Islands" has been done on a nautical chart of the 1000 Islands; the area that I grew up in.

It features nine of the most popular "game" fish that are caught in the 1000 Islands.

The fish included are the Muskie, Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, Pumpkinseed Sunfish, Black Crappie, Blue Gill Sunfish, Large Mouth Bass, Northern Pike and the a little Yellow Perch.

This piece is done primarily in colour pencil - both Staedtler and Faber-Castel, graphite as well as some Staedtler marker. The original measures 24"H X 37"W. It will be framed and ready to hang.
